Our courses are based on an easy to learn first aid handbook which children and adults enjoy learning from. Also our courses can be delivered at your workplace or ours.  

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (4 Hour Course) HLTAID001

This 4 hour course covers the skills and knowledge required to perform an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.  This course does not cover other aspects of first aid.  

Whilst there are no prerequisites for undertaking this course, please note that all pre-course homework must be completed prior to attending.  Assessments include written, practical and scenario based assessments.

All businesses in Australia have to provide a safe workplace for all employees, visitors and contractors. Further first aid training, such as Provide First Aid HLTAID003 may be required to meet your obligations in case of an accident and or injury to anyone on your premises.  

The certificate issued is a Statement of Attainment – Provide CPR.  This certificate is valid for 1 year which is specified by the Code of Practice – First Aid in the Workplace.  The ARC recommends annual update of resuscitation (CPR) skills.


Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (6 Hour Course) HLTAID002

This 6 hour course covers recognising an emergency situation, identify, assess and minimise immediate hazards to the health and safety to self and others, assess the casualty and recognise the need for first aid response and assess the situation and seek assistance from emergency services when required.  It also includes applying appropriate first aid procedures, including CPR and communicating details of the incident.

Whilst there are no prerequisites for undertaking this course, please note that all pre-course homework must be completed prior to attending.  Assessments include written, practical and scenario based assessments.

All businesses in Australia have to provide a safe workplace for all employees, visitors and contractors. Further first aid training, such as Provide First Aid HLTAID003 may be required to meet your obligations in case of an accident and or injury to anyone on your premises.  

The certificate issued is a Statement of Attainment – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support.  This certificate is valid for 3 years which is specified by the Code of Practice – First Aid in the Workplace.  An annual update of resuscitation (CPR) skills is recommended by the ARC and specified by the Code of Practice – First Aid in the Workplace.

Provide First Aid (2 Day Course) HLTAID003

This 14 hour course covers recognising an emergency situation, identify, assess and minimise immediate hazards to the health and safety to self and others, assess the casualty and recognise the need for first aid response and assess the situation and seek assistance from emergency services when required. It also includes applying appropriate first aid procedures, including CPR and communicating details of the incident.  

There are no prerequisites for undertaking this course.  No pre-course homework is required as all topics and assessments are covered during the course.  Assessments include written, practical and scenario based assessments.

All businesses in Australia have to provide a safe workplace for all employees, visitors and contractors. Further first aid training, such as Provide Advanced First Aid HLTAID006, Provide Advanced Resuscitation HLTAID007, Manage First Aid Services and Resources HLTAID008 (HLTSS00027 – Occupational First Aid Skill Set) may be required to meet your obligations in case of an accident and or injury to anyone on your premises. The general nature of this course will satisfy nearly all workplaces, job sites, office environments and at home.

Provide Advanced First Aid (2 Day Course) HLTAID006

This 16 hour course includes responding in an emergency situation, apply appropriate first aid procedures, co-ordinating first aid activities until the arrival of medical assistance, communicating details of the incident and evaluation of the incident. This course is ideal for first aiders requiring a higher level of preparedness in order to adequately handle a workplace emergency until arrival of the ambulance.  It also prepares the first aider to skilfully use oxygen equipment.

Whilst there are no prerequisites for undertaking this course, please note that all pre-course homework must be completed prior to attending.  Assessments include written, practical and scenario based assessments.

This 8 hour course is designed to provide necessary knowledge and skills to use oxygen in resuscitation, to provide supplemental oxygen for a breathing casualty and to operate oxygen equipment as part of first aid.

Whilst there are no prerequisites for undertaking this course, please note that all pre-course homework must be completed prior to attending.  Assessments include written, practical and scenario based assessments.

This 3 hour course is ideal for first aiders that manage a first aid room, first aid kit and resources, requiring a higher level of preparedness in order to adequately handle a workplace emergency before, during and after emergency services arrive.  The course includes determine workplace first aid requirements, establish and maintain workplace first aid facilities, maintain workplace first aid resources and review the provision of first aid in the workplace.

Education and care environments in Australia have to provide a safe workplace for all employees, students, visitors and contractors.  This course is ideal for meeting these obligations in case of an accident or injury to anyone on your premises.  This course covers skills and knowledge required to perform CPR and first aid in line with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and an education and care setting.

This course includes respond to an emergency situation, apply appropriate emergency first aid procedures, communicate details of the incident and reflect on incident and own performance.

Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace 22282VIC

This 4 hour course is designed to provide necessary knowledge and skills to safely assist a person suffering an asthma attack, until the arrival of medical assistance.  It includes the use of a puffer and spacer.  This course is ideal for all parents of young children and provides fundamental knowledge and skills to anyone working with children.

The certificate issued is a Statement of Attainment – Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace 22282VIC. This certificate is valid for 3 years.  Due to industry requirements, first aid workers need to be able to demonstrate current competency every 36 months (3 yrs).

This course is conducted in a mixed mode of delivery.  It consists of fact to face learning and pre-course homework.  Workbook exercises and theory component of the assessment MUST be completed prior to attending this practical course.

Course in Automated External Defibrillation (4 Hour Course) 22101VIC

This 4 hours course is designed to provide necessary knowledge and skills to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) as part of the whole resuscitation process.

There are no prerequisites for undertaking this course. Assessments include written, practical and scenario based assessments. Pre-course homework must be completed prior to attending the practical training day.

The elements of this course include assess the situation, use the AED and communicate details of the incident.

The certificate issued is a Statement of Attainment – Course in Automated External Defibrillator.  This certificate is valid for 1 year.  


Provide First Aid (Fast Track – 8 Hour Course) HLTAID003

This 8 hour course covers recognising an emergency situation, identify, assess and minimise immediate hazards to the health and safety to self and others, assess the casualty and recognise the need for first aid response and assess the situation and seek assistance from emergency services when required. It also includes applying appropriate first aid procedures, including CPR and communicating details of the incident.

This course is ideal for all parents of young children and provides fundamental knowledge and skills to anyone working with children.
